SICI collects the e-mail address of Users that e-mail a question or comment to SICI or submit an application for a SICI class and/or event.

SICI collects the billing and shipping addresses, including relevant e-mail, phone and credit card numbers and expiration dates of Users who purchase a product, become SICI members, or who register for a class and/or event from SICI through the Site. SICI does not store a User’s credit card information, meaning this information must be re-entered each time an item is purchased in a new Site visit session.

How We Share Personal Information with Other SICI Users

We work with merchants to enable them to accept payments from you using SICI. In doing so, a merchant may share information about you with us, such as your email address, when you attempt to pay that merchant. We use this information to confirm to that merchant that you are a SICI customer and that the merchant should enable SICI as a form of payment for your purchase.

Regardless, we will not disclose your credit card number or bank account number to anyone, except with your express permission or if we are required to do so to comply with a subpoena or other legal process.

We May Share Your Personal Information With:

Serotta Competition Bicycles, to help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts, provide joint services and for other business purposes.

Service providers under contract who help with parts of our business operations; (fraud prevention, bill collection, marketing, technology services). Our contracts dictate that these service providers only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit.

Credit bureaus to report outstanding negative balance accounts, as allowed by law.

Companies that we plan to merge with or be acquired by. (Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information. If your personal information could be used contrary to this policy, you will receive prior notice.)

SICI understands that users do not want spam or junk mail from organizations outside of the cycling industry. We only share your information with reputable companies who provide products or services that we believe interest our members. Because we respect your privacy, all Users can choose whether or not their information is shared with other companies, at any time. You can review your personal information and make any necessary changes, at any time by logging in to your account and changing your preferences in the Profile page of the “My Account” tab.

This Site has security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control, including credit card information that is submitted to SICI. When users place orders or access their account information, the Site uses secure server software (SSL), which encrypts all information users’ input before it is sent to us. Thus, we have taken steps to protect the information we collect from you from unauthorized access. Unfortunately, no system is perfect; therefore, SICI makes no representations or warranties with regard to the sufficiency of these security measures.
